Great starting point for excursions. Had a nice 7 mile run this morning from Saugatauk along the sandy shoreline of Douglas and Oval beaches on Lake Michigan. Great resort, reasonable prices, quality service and friendly staff. - Dennis

What a fantastic experience we had at this resort! My partner and I booked a weekend getaway and were immediately impressed by the stunning surroundings. The lush greenery and beautiful landscaping created a picturesque setting that felt perfect for relaxation. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, with all the amenities we could ask for, including a comfy king-sized bed and a lovely balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee while soaking in the views. The on-site dining was a pleasant surprise, with a menu that featured plenty of delicious options. We especially loved the seasonal dishes that highlighted local ingredients. The service was prompt and friendly, which made dining there all the more enjoyable! One area for improvement could be the Wi-Fi connection; it was a bit spotty during our stay, which made planning our activities a bit challenging. However, we ultimately embraced the unplugged vibe and enjoyed our time without distractions. Overall, this resort is definitely worth visiting for a relaxing escape, and we’re already planning our next trip back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely resort, and I can't say enough good things about it! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family. They were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that our check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The room was pristine, beautifully decorated, and offered a stunning view of the surrounding nature. I particularly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere that made it feel like a home away from home. The highlight of my stay was definitely the outdoor amenities. The heated pool was a fantastic way to unwind after a day exploring the local area, and the hot tub was just what we needed on a chilly night. We also took advantage of the complimentary bicycles to ride along the nearby trails—what a treat! The only minor critique I have would be the breakfast options. While they were good, I felt it could use a bit more variety. However, the coffee was fantastic, so that made up for it! Overall, I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The serene environment and friendly staff truly made our stay unforgettable. I can't wait to return in the summer to experience everything this place has to offer during the warmer months!
